GNS 75th Anniversary Raffle

All proceeds from the Raffle will benefit GNS and support its religious, educational, communal, and charitable programs. Eligibility & Ticket Sales: Participants must be at least 18 years of age to purchase a raffle ticket. A maximum of 360 raffle tickets will be sold. Tickets may be purchased at the designated prices listed in the official raffle materials. All ticket purchases are final and non-refundable. Drawing: The winning ticket will be selected at random on August 14, 2026 at Great Neck Synagogue. The winner does not need to be present to win. Prize: The winner may choose one (1) of the following prizes: * Family trip to Israel for up to four (4) people, including airfare and hotel accommodations, with a maximum value of $15,000; or * A Rolex watch purchased by Great Neck Synagogue, with a value of up to $15,000**. The winner must select their preferred prize within 30 days of notification. Israel Trip Prize Conditions: If the winner selects the Israel trip, the trip may be arranged and prepaid by the winner. Great Neck Synagogue will reimburse the winner upon receipt of a confirmed itinerary and booking documentation, up to the maximum prize value of $15,000. Travel must be completed within one year of the drawing date unless otherwise approved by GNS. Travel is subject to availability, airline schedules, and applicable restrictions. Any costs exceeding the $15,000 prize value, including additional airfare, accommodations, meals, transportation, travel insurance, passports, visas, gratuities, and other incidental expenses, are the responsibility of the winner. Taxes: The winner is solely responsible for any applicable federal, state, local, or foreign taxes associated with acceptance of the prize. GNS will issue any required tax forms as required by law. Winner Notification: The winner will be notified using the contact information provided at the time of ticket purchase. If the winner cannot be reached within 30 days, GNS reserves the right to conduct a new drawing if permitted by law. Odds of Winning: A maximum of **360 raffle tickets** will be sold. One (1) winning ticket will be selected at random. Publicity: By accepting the prize, the winner grants GNS permission to use their name, photograph, and likeness for promotional purposes related to the Raffle without additional compensation, unless prohibited by law. Limitation of Liability: By participating in the Raffle, entrants release and hold harmless Great Neck Synagogue, its officers, directors, employees, volunteers, and agents from any claims arising out of participation in the Raffle or acceptance and use of the prize. General Conditions: By purchasing a raffle ticket, participants agree to these Official Rules and all decisions made by GNS regarding the administration of the Raffle, which shall be final. GNS reserves the right to modify, suspend, or terminate the Raffle if necessary due to circumstances beyond its control or as required by applicable law. Compliance with Law This Raffle is conducted in accordance with all applicable federal, state, and local laws and regulations governing charitable raffles in the State of New York.
